Photograph of Ellis A. Fuller playing baseball on Seminary lawn. Fuller excelled as a college baseball player at Presbyterian College in South Carolina. After graduating he turned down multiple offers to play professional baseball saying, "I am going to be a preacher." He is shown here after making a hit in the annual Faculty vs. Students softball game on the seminary lawn in 1948. Fuller got a single off this hit and the faculty defeated the students.
