dc.description.abstractThis project is designed to train and develop church members into ministry leaders at the New Mount Olive Baptist Church, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Chapter 1 states the purpose and goals of this project. Also, attention is given to context, definitions and delimitations, and the project methodology. Chapter 2 observes the biblical and theological rationale for developing church members into ministry leaders. This chapter explicitly gives insight to the role of the pastor in the development process of training church members to become ministry leaders and incorporating the spiritual disciplines of fasting and praying into the life of ministry leaders. Chapter 3 focuses on evaluating and implementing practical concepts for leadership training. Perspectives of understanding pragmatic methods of leadership are examined in this chapter. Chapter 4 gives attention to the project design. Specifically, an analysis of how the project was carried out is discussed. Insight is given as to how various training sessions were presented. Chapter 5 is a conclusion of the outcome of the project. Various results and expressions regarding results are given in this chapter.en_US
