This project sought to equip believers at Locust Hill Baptist Church in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, in spiritual disciplines and in some of the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith. Chapter 1 explains the reason for the project as well as the purpose and goals. Chapter 2 reveals the biblical and theological reasoning for mentoring as a form of discipleship. Chapter 3 analyzes several different contexts for mentoring and then discusses a number of methodologies that could be adopted into the local church from secular programs. Chapter 4 discusses the methodological approach of the project. It explains the order in which the project was executed. Chapter 5 provides an evaluation of the project, including goals, strengths, weaknesses, and what could have been done differently. | en_US |
