Description
This work is based upon a full page article that originally appeared in the Sunday Louisville Courier Journal of April 17, 1949, as the third entry in a series on "Religion in Louisville" prepared by Orval H. Austin, Institutional Chaplain of the Louisville Council of Churches. H. Floyd Folsom was the Superintendent of Missions for the Long Run Association, and was instructed to adapt the material on Baptist life in Jefferson County, Kentucky into a pamphlet for widespread distribution.
