Description
Broadus explained the plan of salvation, along with the doctrines of justification and sanctification in detail, to an unnamed inquirer.
Biog./Hist. Note 1858, Broadus was pastor of Charlottesville Baptist Church (Charlottesville, Va.). In 1859, became professor of homiletics and interpretation of the New Testament and in 1889, president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
