The goal of this thesis is to serve as an aid to preaching the Sermon on the Mount using the principles of biblical theology and highlighting the themes of the kingdom of God, righteousness, and human flourishing. The Sermon on the Mount is a kingdom sermon, proclaimed to produce real righteousness in kingdom disciples, which will lead to human flourishing and well-being. This goal is accomplished through a beginning chapter explaining a basic understanding of biblical theology, and then a series of chapters applying the principles of biblical theology to the Sermon. Each chapter will demonstrate the ways in which the Sermon on the Mount unfolds these three themes of the kingdom of God, righteousness and human flourishing.en_US
