dc.description.abstractThis ministry project was designed to redevelop the course known as Women Counseling Women for the students enrolled in The Master of Arts Program at The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, California. Chapter 1 outlines the ministry context at The Master’s University, Santa Clarita, California, the project’s rationale, purpose, goals, and research methodology. Chapter 2 examines biblical and theological rationale for women counseling women as a biblical model. Chapter 3 reviews the theoretical and practical issues related to women counseling women by comparing and contrasting an integrative counseling approach, a secular counseling approach, and a biblical counseling approach. Chapter 4 reviews the specific elements of the project, which consisted mainly of a 10-week curriculum equipping women who counsel women on specific topics. Chapter 5 analyzes the project, specifically data collected from the students on 10 lectures; the data collected from the students in the course both pre- and post-surveys.en_US
