Typescript (carbon copy). Includes newspaper clippings, notes, photographs. Completed only to 1949. Accompanied by: Spring Meadows Centennial, 1869-1969: a century of Christian care for children / Leo T. Crismon; Centennial Pageant, Fashions 1869-1969 (June 21, 1969); historical photograph. Founded through the efforts of the Ladies' Aid Society, Walnut Street Baptist Church and the pastor, George C. Lorimer, 1869 June 30 at 828 W. Walnut Street, Louisville, Ky. 1870, moved to corner of First and St. Catherine Streets. In 1950, the home was moved to Middletown, Ky. and the name changed to Spring Meadows. Scanned in cooperation with the Kentucky Baptist Convention.
