dc.description.abstractThis project was designed to discover the congregation’s understanding of worship at Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Versailles, KY. It contains five chapters: chapter 1 presents an introduction to this project. Chapter 2 presents three passages (Ps 8, Deut 6:49, and John 16:1215) as the biblical and theological basis for this project. To accomplish the purpose of this project, that is to discover the congregation’s understanding of worship at Pisgah Presbyterian Church, chapter 3 focuses on overviewing two Reformers’ views of the worship of God (John Calvin and John Knox) because of their strong historical connection to the making of the Presbyterian Church in the United States. Chapter 4 describes how this project was carried out in detail, while chapter 5 provides an evaluation of this project.en_US
