Likely final issue; following a resolution by O. E. Bryan offered at the meeting of the Kentucky State Board of Missions in July, 1919, the Western Recorder and the Baptist World mutually agreed to sell their subscription lists to the State Board. On August 18, the State Board unanimously accepted both propositions and proceeded to the publication of a single state organ to be known as the Western Recorder, merging Kentucky Mission Monthly into the new periodical.
